Dear fuel suppliers,

we would hereby like to provide you with information regarding the process of opening an account in the Union Registry, specifically a Regulated Entity Holding Account (REHA), which is necessary for the management and trading of emission allowances.

In accordance with Act No. 383/2012 Coll., fuel suppliers shall apply to the registry administrator for the opening of an account in this registry. Regulation 2019/1122 stipulates that fuel suppliers shall apply for the opening of a regulated entity holding account from 1 June 2026 to 15 September 2026.

In this regard, we would like to emphasise that the account itself is opened with the registry administrator, which is OTE, a.s., and not with the Ministry of the Environment.
